Online alternatives to workshops: If you can't attend a workshop in person, view a shorter online presentation. These aren't nearly as in–depth as the below workshops, but they provide useful tips, and cover many specialized topics.

How to Land Your Dream Job/Internship:
Many students wonder what they can do with a liberal arts degree. There are countless possibilities! This workshop will start you on your path to your dream job or internship by teaching you about networking, informational interviews, as well as how to use resources, like GoldPASS and LinkedIn.
NOTE: This workshop is geared toward CLA students.

Social Media and Your Job Search
Social media has become an important tool in job searching. This workshop will discuss networking, your online brand, and how to incorporate your brand into an interview. You'll also learn tools to use in your job search, including Twitter and LinkedIn.
NOTE: This workshop is geared toward CLA students.

Job & Internship Fair Preparation:
Learn essential tips on how to make a good impression at a job or internship fair, including how to prepare, how to dress and how to impress the employers there. If you prepare in advance for a job fair, you're more likely to find a job or internship through it.

Should I Go to Law School?
Are you thinking about going to law school? This workshop is for any U of M student considering it. We'll talk about the skills you need, and how to decide if law school's a good fit for you. We'll also provide basic tips about getting into law school, and what you can do to prepare.

Applying to Law School
This free workshop is for students who know they're going to law school and would like guidance about the application process. We'll discuss application materials and deadlines, and how to prepare your application materials so that you're the best law school applicant you can be. This workshop is open to all U of M students.
