Meet and Eat With Employers: Learn How to Network

11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Coffman Union, Mississippi Room

This special event is designed for CLA juniors, seniors, and recent graduates. (This includes alumni who graduated in May 2010 or after.) This event will help you improve your ability to job search and network. The afternoon includes:

  • Networking strategies: Learn how to make professional connections, online and in person. Learn how to market yourself in a rapidly changing job market.

  • Advice directly from employers: Throughout the day, you'll talk to professionals about the job-search process, and learn what employers seek in job applicants. This will be great networking practice too.

  • Resume critiques: Bring a copy of your resume for substantive feedback during the event.

  • A tasty lunch!
Cost is $10.

HOW TO REGISTER: Log in to GoldPASS, go to the Career Events tab, then search for the Meet and Eat with Employers event. Click the event link and then the Register for Event button. Payment options are explained as you register.

2:15 – 3:30: Employer Panel
3:30 – 4:00: Open networking and resume critiques
